The PL500 is an automatic plastic sealing machine, which centers the arriving cups, trays, tubs or buckets, before to heat seal them. Mainly use for food packing/packaging, our preset sealing heads and location plates allow you to use the machine to seal many different shape containers. Changeover by the operator takes less than 10 minutes. It can be use among other to seal PP, PET, PE and HDPE plastic containers. It works as well with paperboard or aluminium containers.
Our location plate can be use to form a pocket around the container, allowing a no vacuum MAP system. The sealing pressure is high enough to seal wide lip PET container with the required seal strength for HPP machine. ( Resist to a vacuum corresponding to22in of mercury)
This automatic heat sealing machine, or lidding machine, can be installed on single- lane containers filling/packing/packaging line, or on a dual-lane filling line as in the picture, or for more lanes filling line.
Because the plastic film is a very efficient way to securely seal cups, trays, tubs and buckets, and because at the same time it increases the shelf life, it is particularly adapted for packing/packaging of food.
